I read that one reason Microsoft got the contract was that it was ahead of Amazon in what are called “hybrid cloud systems,” where there’s a mix of what is in the cloud, and what stays on client computers—the juiciest, most sensitive information. That was, according to an article I read, a deciding factor, even though AWS overall cloud structure was more developed than MS’s Azure.
But, hey, I stayed at a Holiday Inn recently. Maybe someone else can chime in with more info.

This is the same crap the media was doing during Operation Desert Storm 1990-91. The press conferences were laughable. The media had their arms wrapped around Hussein and his “Republican Guard.” Even Saturday Night Live was doing skits on how absurd the press was and the questions they asked. I remember General Kelly and his great answers for the treasonous press.
They go all out in finding ways to favorably describe our enemies and downplay anything negative. They might as well describe Hitler as “a revered leader, military strategist, artist, author, political theorist and genetics expert.” Barf.
remember CNN had a deal with Saddam to not make him look evil and they had access to everything in Iraq. Peter Arnett was practically Saddam’s wing man on his dial reports from Baghdad

Why is there consternation when we see the media take the sides or play up our enemies? Haven’t we learned by now they hate America and are not our friends or allies?
