Well, Joe wasn’t even fit to be Vice-President, that is for sure. And he was younger and much more physically fit then. Joe has aged terribly poorly over the past twelve years or so. The VP slot was just a sinecure for a person who should have gone into retirement then, but it also offered great opportunity to make a huge stake in future influence and cash holdings. If Joe wasn’t good enough to have made it as President in 2016, this chances of recovering that mojo today are virtually nil.
Oh, by some really hard-to-imagine chain of coincidence and circumstances, Joe COULD be elected to the office of the Presidency, but he would never be able to function in that capacity. That is one reason his choice in VP pick could greatly affect the final outcome.
