Might explain the reason that some of those Asian countries might be on the downswing. Or why India hasnt shown to be hit.

This stuff proves to be the thing, and the GD Reds knew it and didnt say anything?

From the Laura Ingraham video in #56:

"A preventative dose of hydroxychloroquine is going to prevent the virus from attaching to the body and just get rid of it completely."

Hope this is real.

But for FDA there must be long term trials to see if there are any after effects.

Can’t use this to treat until then. They are out to protect us you know.

At least some Chinese have been recommending it. Everyone wants to see test results, but they are only starting to become available.

Don’t recall nightmares but sure do recall vivid, technicolor dreams.

I quit taking it. To be effective you need to start well before going to a malaria zone and for a period after. I was working 28 in and 28 out so I needed to be on it all the time and didn’t want to be. Did that for several years. Never did get Malaria but sure had a lot of stomach problems.

This drug has been used for many years against malaria. It has a long history and been found safe. If it works against the Coronavirus, I see no reason to have lengthy trials. The drug is safe. The only question is its effectiveness against the virus. Hopefully, Trump will announce that FDA has given the green light.

If it works, it is the ultimate game changer. The crisis is over.

Sure you can.

Off label use:

https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/features/off-label-drug-use-what-you-need-to-know#1

There's the science of medicine, and then there's the art of medicine. It is perfectly legal for a physician to write a prescription for hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin for a patient suspected of having coronavirus. Both drugs are widely accepted as safe.

I have read that prescriptions for chloroquine are already spiking.

Trump is making an announcement later today about the FDA and some exciting news. The speculation is that they are giving the go ahead for trials on this antimalarial drug and other therapeutics. Given the huge stakes, the FDA will be steamrolled if it tries to stop these trials or prolong them. Trillions of dollars and a possible Depression are involved.

Whats it gonna do kill me? That GD virus may very well kill me.

How about the right to try law?

BTW, as I said my Uncle took quinine during ww2. Said he turned yellow and got the trots. But what I failed to mention is that most had the trots anyway so...

out of curiosity, are you referring to “colloidal silver”? My cousin has a colloidal silver generator, and I’ve gotten the stuff from her to treat a wolf hybrid that my son brought home with which developed a case of Parvo virus that the vet said was hopeless...... it took four days to completely cure the dog of the parvo.... and the vet had given her less than 10% chance of survival. This cousin has been using the stuff to treat a couple of chronic conditions for years, and she’s not gray.... at all.

How about the right to try law?

You already have the right to call up your physician and ask for a prescription. You might get it.

If it works as advertised, that might be good advice for a very large number of people.

As a pharmacist, I’ve spoken to many patients who reported side effects I’ve had to look up. Everyone is different and some individuals react differently than the rest of the “pack.”

I've "heard" that hydroxychloroquine may not have the bad side effects of chloroquine. Do you happen to know if that's true? Thanks.

IIRC, the French trial writeup mentions that to be the case.

Big Pharma has been pushing the narrative that we need a vaccine the will take 18 months and billions and billions to produce. This has been misdirection on their part to get large chunks of federal funds.

If current drugs costing pennies can help where is the billions profit for big pharma. Big Pharma is in the business of killing people so they can make a buck!

Silver ions. Much Better. More effective. No cost. No downside

Cite your studies comparing it with the efficacy of hydroxychloriquine.
