No, I live in central NY State. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, but was lucky to be able to leave there when my kids were small. This place isn’t heaven, but it’s a conservative county, cheaper to live here, and so far only 8 confirmed cases of virus in the county.

So you’re downstate. Went to West Point one weekend years ago when I was working on my masters via Empire State College. We had to meet twice a year down in that area. I’m a history buff, and was big into the Civil War at the time. Ancestors on my mother’s side of the family settled in New Amsterdam, Long Island, and Dutchess County. She however was born in Canada.
