India has conducted 401,586 tests (291 tests per one million) compared to 3.9 million (11,666 tests per million) for the US. Comparing the US medical system to India’s is nonsense. I have been to India a half dozen times. They don’t have the ability to diagnose and track the CV the way we do.
Was that from Highlights magazine or Sesame Street?

I respectfully disagree. Yes, there will probably be some paranoid people, but there will be people who will be glad to get back to normal.
If I can secure some Alabama football tickets this fall, I will be there with no worries.
I would also not be worried about attending large concerts.
It doesn’t scare me to go out now. I’m not a Hypochondriac who worries about a little virus.
For once, Sweden actually did something right.

It’s hard to compare Sweden to the US. Sweden is 30 times smaller, has a relatively homogenous society, is not a global economic power, has a fraction of the number of international airports, and is not a top destination for tourists or immigrants.
The Swedish death rate is higher than the US, but may end up lower when all is said and done.
I’d still rather be us.
There are a lot of terms that have been long used that are socially unacceptable today.

Really? Then why do we have so many of their Doctors if they can’t follow this disease. By the way I am not very confident that we all that good at tracking this disease.. Look at New York’s deaths.. I know that those numbers are way off..
Your logic leaves a lot to be desired. Indian doctors come here for better pay, living conditions, opportunities, etc. No one is questioning their ability, but India is a poor country that lacks the medical infrastructure that we have. Life expectancy is 69.7 years. ten years less than in the US.

We have the data, but NY has chosen to go back in time and attribute deaths to the CV for people who were never tested for the virus. It is a state decision that skews the overall data.

The whole northeast seems to be taking it the worst. But it's not explained by anything else other than bad leadership. Even the leftists at Slate are figuring this out.
Yes, poor leadership is at work here. But Slate thinks the answer was taking away people’s freedom sooner. Closing schools and forcing isolation two weeks earlier.
That horse already out of the barn their suggestion is that Uncle Sam should give NY tons of money to keep giving New Yorkers the tons of Free Stuff to which they are accustom.
I am a firm believer in Heard Immunity. The world has gone about this non-Pandemic wrong. The world should have gone about their business as usual with the exception of those who are vulnerable to the common flu should have self-isolated, take vitamin A, D, C and Zink supplements. These vitamins boost the immune system to combat viruses.
The remaining population would contract the virus and build heard immunity.
The current strategy is setting up the world for a second go round with this virus come the fall because heard immunity was not achieved. The Northeast may get to sit it out in the Fall because of the hit they are taking now.
But that won't stop the leftists from wanting to keep the crisis going to get even with Trump.
