My life has been unaffected except for being able to work from home, saving a three hour commute every day and a tank of gas every two days. And I’m interviewing for another job on Wednesday.
If I lived an urban lifestyle, this thing would be crippling to me. But I moved into the sticks 9 years ago for a reason. I wanted to be more autonomous. I am.

I’m in UA (Upper Alabama) and about the same here. Probably going to spend it on a new pistol (been 20 years since my last one) and the rest will go into the new 60x40 shop building I’ve been planning for the last 6 years. Dirt work starting tomorrow! Just doing my part to keep the economy going!
Technically it is federal in the sense that the three phase sequence was developed and will be overseen by FEMA. Individual states decide when they are ready to enter phase one, but make no mistake, this is a FEMA operation.
This is no longer an issue about public safety, its now all about how much control government can get over us and get away with.

Started to flame you and re-read your post...the weak governors will try to clutch trump’s leg like a lost child to try to avoid blame for their own ineptness...you are correct.
The “wazzoo” would be the reverse of the normal process. I don’t think it would work too well.
And we have Sean Hannity, who I think is losing it, advocating for people in the stands at NFL football games to all be wearing masks, pulling them down long enough to take a bite of their hot dog and then putting the mask back in place. Yeah, that will work great, Sean.
