It damn sure better not. When President Trump is gone, Conservatives [all races], Whites, Christians[all races], law abiding gun owners [all races] Trump supporters [all races] will need to do two things. Make sure your insurance is paid up. And make sure your will is up to date.

The distance between now and November is vast. We’ve been subjected to a series of successive events on an accelerating timeline leading from 2016 to November 2020. A few short weeks ago, the 24 X 7 news cycle was obsessively micro-focused on the rapid destruction of the world’s largest economy due to imposed lock-downs in the face of a pandemic (all of it Trump’s fault naturally). We knew that a significant horror would be needed to replace that news cycle (which would, of course, also be Trump’s fault), we just couldn’t predict what it would be. Now we know.

There’s time for several more of these events - as always, we can’t imagine what the events will be, and the magnitude of horror required to wipe each one out of the news - but they’re coming. In the meantime, the economic downward spiral will continue, the riots will continue (just as “Occupy Wall Street” did for nearly a year), the pandemic will continue (reignited by thousands of people rampaging through the streets of every major city that has already sustained the heaviest impact of Covid). But there will be no criminal indictments of significant Deep State operatives. There will be no federal crimes charged against the true leadership and funding sources of Antifa. My cynicism has never been as deep as it is now, and growing.

You’re absolutely right that simply put, he has to win. Daily, I become increasingly doubtful, though I’ve never wanted to be more wrong about anything than this.
