At some point the mayor is going to fire the police chief. The chief is making the boss’s actions/inactions look bad.
An acquaintance was driving by earlier and stopped and we chatted for 20 minutes. He's not an ardent righty but he said he was becoming one.
He said 'it makes your head want to explode.'
Was in sales in the South Side of Chicago for a time in his life. Two cops in every Walmart, witnessed two stabbings. Said 'I'm not racist, but when you live around it watch it, it's like animals, it tempts you to be racist.'
Maybe Trump is right. This one was already probably leaning right ... but hopefully the dopey centrists, if for no other reason that fear at what they are witnessing in the country where they thought they were safe ... Maybe America needs to see all this.

Looks like a “no go” zone to me. Suspend all police and fire service to the new nation of whatever the hell Antifa/BLM rioters are calling the conquered area of Capitol Hill now.
If they want police and fire protection, they should leave to allow it. Until then, screw them. Let it burn.
With humber apologies to the 30,000 residents trapped behind enemy lines there. All 30,000 should break into the Mayor’s residence and the Mayor’s office and stage a sit in until the area is swept of all Antifa and BLM cockroaches.
We have past the tipping point. I’ve feared this for a long time. I just never expected it to come so soon. Prior to Obama’s election, the Commie left was happy with creeping incrementalism, and it was slowly getting them everything they want. Since Obama, they have been much more aggressive.
The bad news is, they have caused far more damage than I ever believed possible.
The good news is, they are waking up a lot of mildly liberal people who are going to become Conservatives shortly. They have had it too.
