> Oregon has had mail in voting for 20 years and look what happened. <
The GOP held the presidency and both houses of Congress for two golden years, 2017 and 2018. And they must have known about the Oregon situation. Yet nothing was done.
Two many idiotic Republican leaders (not Trump) see American politics as a see-saw. The GOP is up for a little while. And then the Democrats are up for a little while. Etc.
That quaint idea is no longer true! Todays Democrats are radical socialists. Should they sweep the elections this November, the GOP will be done as a national party. The country will be swamped by illegals who will be voting straight D by mail forever.
So bye, bye, Miss American Pie...
Oh, wow. That could actually work. Scary. Minor comment: The Speaker of the House would not be appointed President. She would be sworn in as President. No one would need to appoInt her.
Non paywall:
Bipartisan? LOL:
Brooks, Gilman, and others recruited a slate of players including a former swing state governor, a former White House chief of staff, and a former head of the Department of Homeland Security. They invited both Democrats and Republicans who they knew had concerns about Trumps comments on the election; nearly 80 people in all were involved. The Republicans were described by participants as never Trump or not Trump Republicans.
And the conclusionshould give everyone pause. Bidens campaign (since he is the literal figurehead) , is ready to destroy the country by any means necessary, with its willing accomplices crafting the narrative that Trump is at fault:
The Constitution really has been a workable document in many respects because we have had people who more or less adhered to a code of conduct, said retired Army Colonel Larry Wilkerson, a Republican and former chief of staff to Colin Powell who participated in games as an observer. That seems to no longer to be the case. That changes everything.
The problem with this is the concept that more people, ideally all people, should be voting.
This is of course not true. Too many people are voting today. WAY too many.
The only correct argument against mail-in voting, or online voting, which is surely coming next, is that it makes it easy for unqualified people to vote.
There’s also the small problem that how a state handles its voting is very specifically NOT the fed’s damn business. And the fact that plenty of other states have lots of mail in voting and it’s really not a problem and GOP wins regularly in many of those places and all this whining and screaming is stupid and factually challenged.
YA THINK????? If that is the case and the dems get their way, kiss America good bye, forever, because the dems will open the floor gates, and all the illegals, who will be given the right to vote, will only vote democrat. There will no NO WAY any Republican will ever get voted into anything.
Pass a law requiring a six year mandatory prison sentence for anyone involved in voter fraud (no statue of limitations) and no early release.
Then get the word out to every city run by democrats thugs...
“The people who cast the votes dont decide an election. The people who count the votes do.
That is an old Joseph Stalin remark. It doesn’t matter who votes, it’s who counts the votes.
I hope you are right. But my opinion on mail-in ballots, absentee ballots, etc. completely changed after I read about Al Frankens fraudulent election to the US Senate.
That election might have been a one-off. But more likely it will become Democrat standard procedure. Yesterdays average Democrat was liberal, but fair. Todays average Democrat is a fanatic. The ends will justify the means.
I know I’m right. Mail in balloting has been escalating steadily in this country for 25 years. Somehow the GOP keeps winning elections.

Good post!

We may just as well throw in the towel and hand the USA over to the Red Chinese. Same result, but we might get more competent and honest rulers.
