I hope the locust escaping the shortage of wheat in their current fields don’t bring there ways elsewhere.

“ The idea that the economy is going to be fine is nonsense.
How’s the service sector doing?
Soon I expect the real estate market to do poorly.“

I disagree. The service sector in MOST of the country is coming back strong. Not in riot prone Dem big cities, of course. And the real estate markets are on fire. It’s a sellers market.

I’m concerned we are looking at some additional COVID slowdowns. Colleges shutting down in particular. Public schools along with them.
As of late I know of ten or so people suffering from the virus. Didn’t know anyone from the previous four months.

You have a good point in comment #17. We do want as much time as possible, though.

Except for the small businesses that don’t contribute to the political elites. The sacrificial lamb.

Sure, for some parts of the service sector, in places that have opened and allow restaurants at a decent capacity. But that doesn't include much of any of the hospitality or entertainment part of the service sector. I'm in corporate AV, and there's almost nothing scheduled through the end of the year. See if there any big conferences or concerts in your area. Likely almost nothing.

I lost decades of becoming educated and trained for two trades and a newer technology because of the un-American diversion of our economy under deindustrialization to the inappropriately lauded service “industry.” Many men lost their families to that and the divorce/cohabitation putsch, and we see the results of fatherlessness since. Others can weather the change back to the more prosperous pro-American economy and can stand to see their neighbors flourish, too.

Same for food, weird items on shelves, who uses gallon sized corn or green beans cans. Recalls have been nearly daily.

We simply must have country/farm/dairy/meat plant on labels.

Onions, 2 beef, lemons, limes, potatoes, bagged lettuce and other produce, cheese/products. Kroger the most mentioned. Hamburger $9.00 a lb, TP which we now have plenty of off brands, name brands $20.99 a double role 24 pack. Milk, eggs, dairy, bread all higher priced. NO SALES, NO FREEZERS TO BUY.

LOWE’S STOPPED MILITARY DISCOUNTS ON ‘SALE ITEMS’ WOOD PRICES SKY HIGH. WORTHLESS SALES.

MINE IF I GET A STIMULUS CHECK GOES FOR A USABLE MOBILITY WHEELCHAIR. MEDICARE ONLY PROVIDED 500 LB BEHEMOTHS FOR INSTITUTIONS OR IN ISOLATION HOME USE IF YOUR HOME MEETS STANDARDS. STARTER HOMES DON’T. ALL DOORS HAVE TO BE WIDENED, FURNITURE ELIMINATED. STORE HAD OVER PRICED SMALLER ONES YOU PAID OUT OF POCKET FOR. CRAP HEALTH CARE HUBBY SPENT 20 YRS IN THE NAVY FOR.

“We shouldn’t have let the House go in 2018.”

“We” THREW the House in 2018.

EVERY member of the US House of Representatives 2009-2017 is RESPONSIBLE for the Fraud’s crimes against America, and many are still there.

Yes, #youtoo, Trey for 6 of those years.

San Fran has finally seen some of the light

The SF house I sold in 2016 kept going up and up, it is now back to slightly higher than we sold it and still heading down fast.

I highly recommend the free-market American Institute for Economic Research. They are a strong bulwark against socialism.

Their most recent (July) report on business conditions is not nearly as optimistic based on the ACTUAL numbers.

You can read it here

Curl up in a ball and pull the covers over your head. The rest of us will work to make this Virus-induced downturn a distant memory.

Naw. Let's not pay attention to a outstanding and roaring economy!! Let's elect a national destructive, communist economy murdering socialist and his VP selection, Willie Brown's former bed mate!!! Great photos of Willie with his "Ho" on one arm and his stupid wife on the other!!! What a mob the left is!! Noting but sluts and Republic destruction communists.

My entire military career spanded the 1970s, 80s and early 90s!! During that period our main enemy was the Soviet Union. COMMUNISM!!! That is what we defended this republic against for all those years. NOW, well, STUPID, brain dead mush head kids are thinking socialism is the best avenue for a good life!!!

I wish everyone of them could have stood on the old East-West German border with me the day I stood on a hill and looked over into the East and spanned the country side. There were East German farmers plowing their fields WITH MULES and 1920s and 30's ventage tractors. The old iron clonkers with the huge iron rear wheels, with track like, I don't know what you call them, but track like with huge traction bars on the rear wheels to dig into the mud to make them go. You can find old photos on the web of them. AND, I turned around and looked back into the West German fields and saw West Germans plowing their fields with NEW, green colored John Deare tractors, the most modern in the world. Making 100% better time and plowing fields and moving on while the mules are still on their first or second rows!!! THAT SHOWED the difference between Communism and FREEDOM!!! Mules and modern tractors.
