Both of them were more conservative than liberal although those two concepts were not realized at that time.
What BULLSHIRT! IF, IF, IF, IF......
Yeah - the liberal media will say for the sake of safety, vote Dem.
I think I’m about to hurl.
IF she is speaker.
Reminder to self to re-read the Twelfth Amendment where the person selected as President must be one of the top three vote receivers in the election. Then the Senate will choose the VP. I dont see anywhere in the Amendment where Pelosi has an entry. Maybe someone can explain it to me. The author does not address the 12th, except only in passing with speculation. Help!
Amendment XII
The electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;—The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;—the person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President. The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
If it goes to Supreme Court and it is a 4-4 tie, assuming Ginsberg is not replaced, what happens?
Was this article written before RBG assumed room temperature?
Because everything’s changed now. PDJT is going to appoint a successor, Mitch will see that there’s a vote, SCOTUS will flip conservative, and states intent on stealing the election will be stymied.
Meanwhile, the riots have restarted on cue, and more & more voters will pull the lever for Republican.
All Pelosi will be left with is her designer ice cream.
You raise a good point. There are many moderate democrats who are very unhappy with her right now and their party in general.
When you objectively look at the democrat party right now, the radicals are in charge of their nominee(s) and the traditional party powers seem to have lost influence over the process. Schumer is largely neutered thanks to the Harry Reid rules. Pelosi still controls the calendar in the house, but that is all they have at the moment and their own “Freedom Caucus” of more moderate democrats is emerging who may not support Pelosi as the speaker.
If it goes to Supreme Court and it is a 4-4 tie, assuming Ginsberg is not replaced, what happens?
Chaos.
LOL
doesn’t it depend on what the verdict appealed was?
the flynn case (both sullivan and the en banc appeals ct) shows they are pulling out all the stops to manage judiciary so I would not be optimistic about such a scenario.
and when the Dems lose the House ,LOL
“If it happens, I leave for Venus. Didnt they just find life there?”
And Nazi Pelosi can leave for Uranus.
Anyone know what the gambling odds are for Pelosi as next president?
Unlike the polls, the gamblers factor in cheating, etc.
Somebody’s wet dream is not newsworthy.
I just discovered that Hillary re-instated her law license in Arkansas in 2019 after paying a suspension fee (due to lapse in taking CCE courses to keep her license up to date).
Dems get in, Hillary could be a SC Judge. Why else would she bother after a 17 year lapse in her license being suspended.
RE: Hillary mysteriously found the need to reinstate her law license after suspension....SCOTUS on the horizon?....

Now you did it. I’m really depressed.
But will channel it into action. No time for depression when America is on the line.
Trump
must
win.
She’s in her 70’s so doubt she would be nominated. But you never know. Just curious after 17 yr lapse why re-instate it in 2019?
