This line sums it all up:

"Big drug studies usually allow a panel of monitors to get an early peek at the data once or twice before the planned end. The panel can stop the trial early if a treatment is judged overwhelmingly effective -- or alternatively, a total dud."

I’m in the Pfizer study. Had a blood draw today. But I think I got a placebo because I’ve had no symptoms.

Wife had symptoms after 2 shot vaccine.

32 infections out of 44,000 test subjects. If no adverse health effects they have enough to proceed at least to at risk patients.

32 sounds small. But the threshold for the entire study is 152. “152 adverse events”.

I would not be surprised and think Trump might even leak it during the last debate.

After a trial of 44,000 people volunteered to be the Guinean pig. If true and that there were only 34 infections in the trial they have a vaccine.

Did you bother to read the article prior to posting your ridiculously idt optic opinion? Just asking. For a friend

"Who wants to line up to be the guinea pigs?"

Tens of thousands of closely monitored volunteers have already tested each of the vaccine candidates over the course of several months. They've gone through phase 1, phase 2, and phase 3 clinical trials, just like any other drug or vaccine goes through.

Take your Democrat talking points elsewhere. It's not rushed. It's not poison. President Trump isn't trying to kill everyone because he's a homicidal maniac.

I think it will be. That’s why you see the Democrats falling all over themselves to try and call these vaccine candidates “rushed” and claim the vaccines are dangerous and untested.

The reality is they’re fully tested and the Democrats know that. They’re in full panic mode because they spent months hyping up COVID-19 as an existential threat to America and now President Trump is here to deliver the vaccine that stops it in its tracks.

Yet again, President Trump flips the whole thing on the Democrats’ heads.

Sounds like a normal day for me.

Would the placebo group be included in the infection count (34)?
