I have always been someone who does not like to tackle huge projects and it is a tremendous book. Wouldn’t know where to start and in what order to go.
I am astonished by the great things that I read that are quoted from the Bible on this site.
Maybe I should look for a local Bible study group. I would imagine there is one on Staten island

Absolutely! I joined a local Bible study well over 30 years ago and never looked back. It’s changed my life- and my afterlife. Unfortunately, many Americans quit studying the Bible after childhood, but the best lessons are meant for adults.
The Bible is one story from beginning to end; the story of how God made a perfect world, how man rebelled, and how God sent his son to redeem fallen man and to restore the world. So it’s not something you can study without a proper framework and guidance to see how it all fits. It’s meant to be studied with other people, and then on your own.
