We would have raised a stink except the kids are grandkids of the owner of the property and HE is a good, conservative guy. His son is a different story.

So when we were putting the fence in we told him it was to keep our dogs from barking at his dogs. The truth is our dogs didn’t bark at them unless the kids were out their taunting them. It had to happen... our dogs are Pyrenees and guard our livestock. If they were to really feel threatened there would be no stopping them from scaling that fence!

That is a line in the sand. But things will go “hot” before that, I think, as the left will push it. The leftist PTB will definitely use that as a pretext, at which point all hell will break loose.

I’ll be 70 on my next birthday. I am a veteran. The oath I took back then is still important to me. I am also a student of history, and have been all my life (my university degree is in History); so I have a pretty damn good idea how this will shape out, because the blueprint was written long ago, and it just repeats itself, in different times, in different climes, with different people. But it always ends up the same.

True. But are your livestock clearly visible from the road?

The article says the corral fence was not visible from the highway and someone had to stop and work their way around to get a clear shot at the horse.
