“Sure, because 98% humidity in Texas and 115 degree in the shade in Vegas is great theme park weather.”
It is in Orlando which has an average 88% humidity and mid 90’s temps during their year. And the people flock from all over the world to get there. Gotta be doing something right.

Your figures are wrong for average temps in Orlando. And how about Vegas? Real mild there huh?
Sales tax $$$ alone on all the items that visitors buy...including meals.
The last time I checked, the vast Majority of Disney Executives and management were Proud Liberal Democrats, SUCK IT UP!!!
“Your figures are wrong for average temps in Orlando. And how about Vegas? Real mild there huh?”
I went to the WeatherUS.com bureau to double check the figures I was given at another site and found this:
“The warmest month (with the highest average high temperature) in Orlando is July (91.8°F). The month with the lowest average high temperature is January (71.2°F).”
That makes the average temps at Orlando 81.5 degrees by their last years average. Orlando, located in the sunshine state of Florida, has a humid subtropical climate classified under the Köppen climatic classification as Cfa. The city has two primary seasons, one characterized by a hot and rainy season and the other - a warm and dry season. So, it is mainly hot and hotter.
And that’s with an average humidity, according to weather and climate.com, of 74% with June through August into the 80% areas or higher.
The average humidity in Las Vegas is 24.7% which ranges from 13% in June to 40% in January according to las-vegas.climatemps.com.
Their average temp is based upon high and low with 105 in July being the average top end and 56 in December being the low making the average overall high of 80.5 degrees. These figures came from weatherspark.com and are based upon the monthly highs only which is what I think you want to see.
I’ve been in Florida, in Tampa where I was stationed, and in Orlando at Disney World, when the temps have been higher. I’ve also been at Las Vegas when the temps were higher, but I can only work with a provided average. If I was going to compare the two for comfort, Las Vegas would be better for me as the dry heat is more acceptable to my past. But Orlando provides the advantage of size for a Disney facility. So that’s where they went originally.
And they must have guessed right as their average daily attendance at world is around a quarter of a million a day when they are left alone, between the four theme areas. The tourist trade brings in 49.5M according to the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority. That makes for an average of 135,616 a day. So I guess Disney made the right choice on location. I looked for 2019 figures as this year has been a bust for both locations.

You cant figure average temp that way. Thats the mean temp. Take the average temp for each month, add them up, and then divide by 12. The average is in the 80s.
Disney execs help put the democrats in power.
They reap what they have sown.
