Ridiculous. There was no attempt to overthrow the government, to assassinate politicians, to set up an alternate government, or impose a formal set of demands. It resembled the leftist disruptions of the Kavanaugh hearings two years ago, which no one called a "coup."

It also resembled the leftist sit-ins and takeovers of government offices, state legislative chambers, corporate offices, and academic institutions that have been going on for more than 50 years, not to mention the innumerable disruptions of conservative speakers that occur on college campuses.
