McCarthy still going 8:40 pacific time. Trying to get 5 democrats to not vote on their bill. Pelosi just entered the chamber. He is now making the case against China and that we need to spend money to compete with China and defend against first strike hypersonic missiles, and this bill will help China more than America.
You folks MUST see what McCarthy is doing. This is his finest hour in his whole political career. HE IS FILIBUSTERING. He’s been going on for about 3 hours now, and just a little while ago he said he’s just getting started, lol.
He is depriving Pelosi of her ability to take a vote on the bill, and then crow to the public before the cameras in prime time about her great win. She’s sitting in her office fuming, as the hours roll by, and McCarthy is fantastically unstoppable. I hope he goes until 3 in the morning, in the very wee hours, depriving the Dems of their moment of victory, and McCarthy’s performance delights me!
Fellow Pubs, keep him in bottled water so that he may go on all night. It’s like Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. He’s James Stewart reincarnated. This is funny as all get out, spectacular, and the Dems must be hysterical about now; well actually steaming mad and unable to do a thing about McCarthy’s sabotage of their evil win.
Tonight he is redeeming himself in my eyes and doubling, actually tripling down, just like Trump and DeSantis. He has gone up several notches tonight in my esteem. And he’s even making sense and he’s darn good at this. I hate to go to sleep as I want to see the Dems’ sourpusses when they finally can get on the floor to vote. May it be a long, long time from now (he started at 8:38 pm; it is now 1 pm, so about 4 1/2 hours so far and going strong, lol).
I thought McCarthy was all Irish; he’s not. He’s half Irish and half Italian. Fighting Irish and mafia-like tough Italian; a great combo. GO McCARTHY; may your vocal chords carry you far into the night.

This is NOT new for me to defend McCarthy, especially now that I know he has Italian background, but HE IS A GOOD MAN AND I THINK HE IS DOING A GOOD JOB WITH WHAT HE HAS WITH WHICH TO WORK.
