“At this point, all I have is what I’ve been told. I can’t help you if you don’t tell me your side of the story...”
Fish money out of your own pocket and let them see you feed it into the vending machine to get them a Coke and a snack.
Because all those people out there are saying bad things about him and you are the only one that cares enough to try to help.
Make sure to put a couple of errors in the typed up “statement”, and if the perp is too stupid to find them, point them out so the perp can scratch them out and make a correction and initial it. Keeps them from saying they didn’t read and were just pressured to sign at the bottom. Look, corrections and initials in his own handwriting on each page.
A good investigator doesn’t need a rubber hose.
Don’t talk to cops. Ask for an attorney and sit quietly. Let them talk all they want. Unless you want to get something off your chest and confess to a crime, which is an option, then just don’t talk to them. Don’t talk around the subject, don’t try to outwit them, don’t try to throw them off the trail, don’t lie. Don’t say anything and ask for an attorney. I think next idea they will probably introduce is fake attorney’s to advise people to confess, so watch out for that.
Sure seems like a RICO case is warranted here.
Also a Class Action lawsuit.
Hey! Trial Lawyers gotta eat.
There’s a video on all this, it’s called “DON’T TALK TO THE POLICE”!
Very informative, done by a defense lawyer and a police detective.
Demonstrates how the police can twist anything you say and make even you think you might be guilty!
Absolutely. His follow up video and book “ You have the right to remain innocent “ are excellent also.
Also worth watching

Agreed 100% - thanks for posting this.
I have several LE acquaintances. The couple I call friends have said clearly “get an attorney” before talking with police.
Here’s my advice:
DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT EVIL, LYING MARK HERRING HAS TO SAY.
Whatever he says is questionable. He is a purely evil creature.
“If you are under 18 then they can’t question you without your parent or guardian.”
Actually, they can and do.
“Even if it is allowed, police are risking a judge throwing it out.”
Where, in what court? I don’t ever recall a court throwing out a minor’s statement.
It’s the old, “The other guy already told us everything but we have one last question to ask you” routine. If the cops approach you, say nothing. If arrested, say nothing but that you want a lawyer. Traffic accidents, self-defense shootings, all are the same. Say as little as possible to secure the scene. That’s about it.
Thank you for correcting that post. They are allowed to talk to minors(ages vary by state, some as young as 14) and no court throws out those confessions. I used to really believe these tactics were reasonable because innocent people have nothing to fear. I grew up and as a law abiding citizen the police now terrify me.
