Pretty much why the US Military doesn’t really use fully automatic rifles anymore. They fire single shot or in 3-round bursts because fully auto is highly inaccurate and wastes ammo.
The sheeple must be frightened into accepting any tyranny and the people of Idaho and Vermont must be punished for gang warfare in California.
The problem isn't more gun control,
The problem is armed gangs who modify weapons
Are any of them going to be Federally prosecuted ?
There used to be billboards advertising Federal prosecution and random firearms shooting incidents dropped significantly.
Don't have Federal law on the books if you aren't going to use it.
I was in a house once that was haunted by ghost guns.
Years and years ago, before I belonged to a Sportsman's club I used to go to a gun range run by the game commission. Some hood rat pulled up in his pimped out ghetto mobile with his ho in the passenger seat. He jumped out, walked directly on a live range, hanged a target and walked back - not to the firing line, but about 5 meters. He held his semi-auto above his head with the ejector port pointed straight up and elbow slightly bend, then unloaded his weapon spraying hot brass in his nappy hair and down his collar.
I'm not afraid of these thugs when I am armed.
Well, I can’t drive anywhere without hitting one of these ‘guns on the street’.
I went through a haunted house the other day and saw at least 40 ghost guns. It’s out of control. I went to throw away some garbage at a store dumpster and opened the lid, and a few dozen ghost guns sca pered out. I thin, there was a nest of them In there.
Depending on the situation. Absent acomputer-aided aiming system, automatic fire’s only purpose is suppresaion.

Did you see that video of the drive-by gang shooting in Puerto Rico last month or so? Several of these "Glock 18" pistols were used - to horrific effect. These modified handguns are as capable as Uzis, Mac-10s and pretty much any other pistol-type submachinegun. Spraying lead is what they are intended to do; just a bit of practice is needed. They are certainly getting lots of practice.
The bigger issue, though, is the source of these gadgets. Most appear to be coming from China by the thousands, so it looks like another "create internal political division and upheaval" operation from Joe's ChiCom buddies.

A two or three round burst is definitely preferred in order to acquire and keep a target, (as well as preserve ammo) but I don’t think Hood rats care about accuracy and seem to be perfectly happy to spray and pray.

The ENTIRE federal government has been corrupted.
At least a true machine pistol can be controlled with training.

30 round mags are readily available for Glocks. Perhaps a little more difficult in California, but, hey...if they can get auto-sears....

That’s a fact. And that idea went back to the M-14, which was wholly uncontrollable on full auto. Great rifle, but useless on full auto because there was no control.
Full auto is a waste of ammo.

Controllable with training and stance. I had access to a legal conversion. Trying to aim was a losing game. draw, stab out forward (point shoot), lock your arms, and fire short bursts. its like magic. drops the rounds in the center mass. Aim and squeeze the trigger, 3rd shot was already off the paper every time.
There were a lot of full auto switches imported from China a few years ago. Supposedly for air soft, but they work on Glocks .
