Yeah, I know how easy it can be to get carried away sometimes and try to catch myself before I come off too hostile or arrogant. I’ll post some things and then an hour later realize I came off as a jerk.

But I don’t take all this stuff personally, I could be at loggerheads with somebody on one thread with having totally opposites views of things, but then see that person on another thread on a different topic and agree with them completely.

He has not said one single word tying anything in his book too Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
~~~~
He didn’t have to. If Gerkin wrote a whole book lambasting baby boomers then it’s even worse. The reasons why the baby boomer generation had it so easy are the riches and the void of competition brought on by winning WWII, not because of some manufactured esoteric social gobbledygook. The Mediterranean mob which “the greatest generation” created in its Euro-African supply chain created the ugly anything-goes Vietnam flesh and drugs market ....which created its own communist opposition. Then “the greatest generation” forciblyconscripted the blood of hundreds of thousands of baby boomers to try and protect their screwup. 58,000 of us lost our lives to protect their little Peyton Place.
American are not born into this world to serve other Americans pleasure.
As for Gerkin’s criticism that baby boomers failed to hand the reins of American society over to successive generations like “the greatest generation” did? ....Bullshit. Baby boomers never received those reins, because “the greatest generation” held onto the reins until they died.
#123. Baby boomers never received those reins, because “the greatest generation” held onto the reins until they died.
The Baby Boomers themselves are holding on to the reins until they die too, which is one of Gergen's points, just like he said.
I found your citation of KiwiFarms.net interesting. As of today, it shows a maintenance 503 message, which is itself interesting reading, as the individual's ISP has apparently declined to continue the service.
From the 503 page, another site is referenced: https://t.me/s/kiwifarms.
The source is questionable, no matter what position one holds on things. Your citation of something so tenuous to prove your assertion seems therefore itself tenuous. Two participants, Josh and Blake, seem primaries, and one is apparently flying in to Belgrade, suggesting connections in Serbia and perhaps nearby geographic areas.
Like or dislike Lira's commentary -- to which I listened -- the premise that the current deep and bureaucratic state under Biden has and continues to provoke additional conflict seems supportable. Since 2000 when the US debt was $5 trillion through to today as it passes $31 trillion in only 22 years, our nation has invaded a number of countries, cut and run in all of which I am aware excepting Syria, where "we" continue to control militarily about 1/3 of the country, uninvited by Syria. Iraq is a mess, and Afghanistan has been ceded back to the Taliban complete with billions in material. Libya, Obama's toy, is also a mess. The US military-industrial complex has done quite well for itself, while the nation is beggared.
As to testimony from a hostile witness, that too is taken in court as we know, even when the witness is perhaps not fully trustworthy. So your interest in proving that someone in particular is untrustworthy seems to be odd, in a world full of untrustworthy voices.
In the "there are only two alternatives" game, there is always a third. Not my circus and not my monkeys also fits. Don't care for Russia, and don't care for Ukraine (with its fine association with Americans like the families of Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, Romney and Nuland, for starters. Their testimony by their actions is also part of the picture, and not a pleasant one at that.
Not my circus -- no matter which side has "lost a third of their ground forces" -- and not my monkeys. But sure as hell billions of MY American money is being spewed like a fountain "over there." The remaining question is -- for what?
How this Ukraine / Russia eventually turns out will be what it will be. If it's anything like our activities in Afghanistan....
