There's a number of sources, this is just n of them. Possibility of talks between Zelenskyy and Putin came to a halt after Johnsons visit - UP "The Russian side…was actually ready for the Zelenskyy-Putin meeting. But two things happened, after which a member of the Ukrainian delegation, Mykhailo Podoliak, had to openly admit that it was "not the time" for the meeting of the presidents. The first thing was the revelation of the atrocities, rapes, murders, massacres, looting, indiscriminate bombings and hundreds and thousands of other war crimes committed by Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories… The second "obstacle" to agreements with the Russians arrived in Kyiv on 9 April." Details: According Ukrainska Pravda sources close to Zelenskyy, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, who appeared in the capital almost without warning, brought two simple messages. The first is that Putin is a war criminal, he should be pressured, not negotiated with. And the second is that even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they are not. Johnson's position was that the collective West, which back in February had suggested Zelenskyy should surrender and flee, now felt that Putin was not really as powerful as they had previously imagined, and that here was a chance to "press him." Three days after Johnson left for Britain, Putin went public and said talks with Ukraine "had turned into a dead end". https://news.yahoo.com/possibility-talks-between-zelenskyy-putin-103227773.html

CarolinaPutinFan, every Russkie defeat to you morons is a secret victory

clearly the reason you trolls resort to name calling is because you have no substance or truth to support your positions.. think of this IF the ruskies are advancing 1 mile per week coming south from Izyum and IF it’s 100 miles to get to the Zapporiza line, THEN we can enjoy this debate for an additional 100 weeks..... You may run out of names to call your fellow freepers!

Ukrainet is considered one of the most corrupt countries in the world - BUT NOT AS CORRUPT AS RUSSIA.

And George Soros was for this war... which always gives pause as he tends to stand with criminals against the lawful.

We’ve had our military and preparedness degraded... and we’re less able to fight a war with a real adversary because of that. And we’re risking a nuclear World War III...

None of that is good.

And the story about how Putin would take other countries is weirdly reminiscent of LBJ telling us commies would take over all of South East Asia if we lost... country by county - then come for us. Dominoes. Which didn’t pan out.

I’m concerns people in Taiwan are looking at the mess in Ukraine and thinking they’d rather give into China than deal with that kind of mess... that’s not good.

And Biden? From his track record? Yikes ... This whole mess could become a horror beyond anything we’ve seen ...

#64. Which as I already said, “Because the U.S., Europe and Ukraine want the war to end”.

There are already reports that the Russians are preparing to withdraw from Izyum since they lost Kharkiv. So as stupid as your "Russkies will take 100 miles in 100 weeks!" thing is from a military perspective, not even this stupid fantasy will last the coming days. The Ukrainians are also planning to re-take Izyum in the very near future as well.

It sucks to suck, CarolinaPutinFan.

Do you really expect Freepers to go to Ukraine to get the other side of the story

Or, you know, just read news reports replete with lots of verifiable footage and photographs of dead Russkies and dead Russkie armor.

But you dumbasses insist it's all CGI or whatnot until the bitter end when it's announced, for example, that Ukraine has retaken an entire Oblast. And even in that scenario, you'll still argue it's either a (1) secret victory for Moscow (2) or start mouthing off about the fog of war and how truth is unknowable until many centuries after a war is over, even though there are Ukrainian journalists sitting at the Belogorod-Ukrainian border right now after the Ukrainians sent the Russkies running across it.

As the Zoomers would say, all the BS out of your guy's mouth in this thread is just a bunch of "Copium."

BS - Russia has not even mobilized it’s assets.
———-
Correct. The Russian Congress ( Duma) has only voted to support a “ special military operation”, Russia’s vast military has not been mobilized, yet.

Being an ex- Cold War 82nd member, I see the majority of Vlad’s “ hardware’ deployed in Ukraine as second, third tier equipment,….he is obviously saving his “ good stuff” in case NATO intervenes.

Always good to see both sides, for a better look in the propaganda war, it would pay to see the Russian MOD figures on the Ukies losses. Do remember, the Ukies are not producing anymore, Vlad hit all their defense factories months ago….meanwhile, Russia lacks nothing in keeping their factories up and running.

www.riafan.ru

Click on the daily updated map, scroll down to see the Ukies losses.
880 drones, 3130 Ukie armored vehicles, etc…

We’ll probably never learn the real truth.

It may slowly seep out. Soviet losses in Word War II were originally given as 20 million (1950s) and they sometimes admitted to 25 million (1960s). After about 50 years they started to say up to 30-35 million. That was about 1/4 of their total population and is probably in the right neighborhood. But between the confusion that is inherent in a major war and the desire of the Soviet government to hide a demographic disaster, it is taking a very long time for the info to seep out.

Are you sure you’re not a Zoomer yourself? Your immaturity level would seem to suggest that.

It would be helpful if we could get some additional Ukraine
military news from people who are not part of the Ukraine military cheerleading squad.
——-
Forbidden by Ukie law….and it will never be allowed by western MSM. Go to Serbian, Bulgarian and Indian news agencies, not looking good for the Ukies….
Why else are they begging for money, arms, aircraft, ammo, and men?

Russia may be suffering losses, but they are still producing. The Ukies war plants are all sitting in a pile of rubble, Vlad took them out with precision missiles early on, and is doing a great job destroying western charity near Liviv, and all the entry points…not to mention Vlad has been busy immobilizing the Ukie rail system….and destroying strategic bridges carrying Romanian oil/ fuel west of Odessa….keep your eyes on the Dniepner river bridges, when they go, it’s all over for the Ukies.

Putinist, I just exposed you for falsely accusing another FReeper as a liar.

There is nothing more broken, mentally and spiritually, than you Putinists. You have thrown in your lot with a Satanic regime and behave accordingly.

You’re getting your info and numbers

I'm getting my info and numbers from a huge array of sources.

You guys, meanwhile, are a bunch of clowns quoting pedophiles and freaks from Russian media, pretending to be the ones who "look at both sides and make objective conclusions"!

I’m sure there are a ton of ways to evade the Russian draft.

The war isn't really affecting folks in St. Petersburg and Moscow, they are wealthier so they can probably afford a bribe to avoid conscription. If you are a poor Russian family living in a provincial town, you are SOL. Putin could mobilize and he can get more soldiers. But he will have to manufacture the military equipment to replace the losses in Ukraine. Logistics win wars.

Meanwhile, the numbers of illegal aliens crossing the border of the USA and being admitted by the US government is increasing daily.........

And, of course, if we stop all shipments to Ukraine, that will somehow alter the situation on our southern border - is that what you are implying?

BS - Russia has not even mobilized it's its assets. [...] Both sides are mobilizing and re equipping for operations in the summer. The sane people of the world need to shut this down before a mobilized Russian army collides with a Ukraine army resupplied with hi tech western weapons.

Two questions:

1. How? (I.e., how should the "sane people" of the world "shut this down?" Is there a switch we could simply flick to cause the Russians to stop invading and return home?)

2. Why? Don't you like watching Russians getting their collective *sses kicked? Don't you like watching Russian military assets being degraded? You'd like Putin's military to remain at full strength, would you?

Regards,
