After Musk said he was going to buy Twitter and fix it and especially after he announced he would be voting republican, I figured there would be a lot of used Teslas for sale.

Because used automobiles have no chip shortage. From what I read, my guess is that we have 50-100 thousand automobiles here, made in America, that are sitting in car lots waiting for chips for their electronics controls.

It had better be a used one (AOC's is for sale). There's a 1 to 2 year wait time for most Tesla models. Demand outstripping supply. Same is true of used cars (any make).

That’s what I was referring to. I expect quite a few dyed in the wool leftists who bought a Tesla because they thought Musk was one of them, might just decide to sell it (like Occasional-Cortex) now that Musk announced he’s voting republican.
