The article seems to be saying they totally screwed up and admit it, while trying to claim it was all non political. Pretending they were just tone deaf.
Except this is beyond tone deaf because who the hell would even bother with a warrant and a confidential informant in a nothing documents dispute?
And with a former president no less!
So of course it was a total hit job.
