Maggie Haberman wrote a book with pictures of what are purported to be WH documents in a toilet. This release, I suspect, was used as justification for the raid because it showed “exigent need”. That’s the MO Democrats have been using. Brainstorm a scenario, release word of the scenario to the media, use the media reports as justification for acting on the scenario.

It sounds like they were expecting to find something in the safe, and when they didn’t find it, they ransacked the whole house, including Melania’s wardrobe. Maybe the claim of an informant is just a lame attempt to explain why they were there without revealing they are still wiretapping/ eavesdropping on him. Maybe they heard him say something was in the safe ...
