Voting is a fool’s errand at this point in time in the world we live in.

voting PLUS some other things are the key.

battles are fought and won on many small fronts. What is each of us doing?

Your post seems to indicate, “I give up.................”

thus they have won at least you are not a problem for them.

The only way to cure this problem is to remove deep state actors from power.

Yeah it's not going to happen. Even if the Republicans defund the FBI, Brandon will simply veto it.

The instant Trump announces he will not run, DeSantis will announce he is running. The instant he announces, the FBI, DOJ, Shiff and all of the other vultures will descend on him.

I think the FBI is planning on arresting Trump. So he'll be in jail. Then they'll intimidate DeSantis into not running.

Then a designated loser from the GOP will run against Brandon in 2024. (Somebody like Paul Ryan who will run a "respectable campaign" but gets crushed)

He hasn’t done anything to make me think he’s corruptible.

Yet.

He’s an Ivy League lawyer who has never worked outside government in his life. That alone makes him untrustworthy.

He’s been our version of Trump.

No, he’s not. There is only one version of Trump.

Sometimes women reporters leave a lot to be desired. Sometimes they go on fantasy trips.

So he'll be in jail

We will elect him from ADX Florence if need be.

at this point I’d give better than even odds that Trump himself is Deep State and has been all along played the scripted foil to allow them to rip off the mask of constitutional government.

If that is the case he’s done his part flawlessly.

Dems already beat Trump.

Sure, they cheated their asses off, but they succeeded, and they now have the power while Trump does not.

They beat him.

They will beat him again.

Trump’s 2018 EO gave him all the tools needed to stop the steal.

He declined to use those tools, even though everyone saw the steal coming well in advance, and let it happen anyway.

Why?

They’ve already pulled out everything they got against DeSantis and Youngkin and failed miserably.

Those two are demonstrably superior at dealing with press than Trump, who lets them game him and get in his head, ever will be.

Can’t argue with that. Desperate people do desperate things, usually adding to their punishment.

But you raise an interesting question:

What will the public do if Trump is put in jail?

I think they will go into a rage that this country has not seen since.....the Revolution.

Those long senate and house investigations that create much hot air but no relief from the problems will turn into rage that will consume not only congress but spread throughout the country.

Cowardly people like me?

I literally bled to save you from Communism and pulled a miracle out of nowhere to give you that chance. That’s what you saw in Virginia in 2021.

Trump’s total contribution: $0. Or $25,000 if you want to count what he gave to Terry McAuliffe.

You know neither what cowardice nor courage is, if this is your assessment of my position.

Not really about the Repuke party. The people want Trump. The fact that they can’t have him because the powers that be say so is a major problem and the number one reason why he needs to be nominated and re-elected. I for one wouldn’t care if it’s DeSantis or Biden or Newsom or Christie or Harris. All of those people represent what is acceptable to the powers that be and any of them in power screams that the people are not in power.

We were ***this close*** to finding ourselves bereft of the arms, ammo and gunpowder needed to mount a decent (if halting and incomplete) self-defense against a certain cadre of lobsterbacks on April 19, 1775.

Fortunately for us, certain foresighted patriots saw to it that those same lobsterbacks scurried back to Boston by the end of the day, not only empty-handed, but also, bleeding from both nostrils.

Potentially like the Troubles in Northern Ireland or the Intifada in Israel. But it may not even go that far. Too many of us have jobs and we have to feed our families and mortgages to pay. Too much to lose if people decide to act.

Unfortunately, given the depth of evil that some many Democrats wallow in, I could see them arresting him, putting him in the MCC, and then ‘ending his life’ in the same way as Jeffrey Epstein did.

Of course, I think that PDJT has enough dirt on enough people, and enough friends to release such dirt, that IF they did this, there could well be CW2.

I pray for the US and PDJT, as well as Canaduh.

This is an interesting thought experiment.

Clearly, the author is correct at least in part: whoever is running the show in the White House (and it for sure isn’t Brandon) is weighing the pros and cons of arresting Trump.

That planning has to include some assessment of the MAGA reaction to that level of lawlessness, and the best case scenario from that deep-state perspective is that some legit. Trump supporters decide that it’s time to go kinetic. I don’t think that will happen, but you can bet that there’s a contingency plan for a few false flag actions.

That’s where things could spiral out of control quickly. The regime has shown that it can mobilize mobs in the streets, to burn, loot, and kill. But in 2020, their goons mostly stayed in safe blue cities. Could their troops be contained again? And what happens if the chaos spreads to the red zones?

That’s the context in which political organizing would have to occur. It won’t be impossible, but new methods of identifying, contacting, and motivating our voters are going to be needed.
