Thanks.

That should have occurred to me. I haven’t addressed it
before, but easily could have here due to the subject matter.

Good point.

I wasn’t aware of the actual accord name. Appreciate the
mention.

He’s a bit batty. The people of Crimea support being part of Russia, like over 80% of them. I would call that decisive.

Turkey, the NATO Ally who went to War against another NATO Ally (Greece) over Cyprus a few years back. Seems like just yesterday to me.

“Yes, former Soviet bloc nations clamor to be added to NATO because of the gorilla in the room - Russia, the aggressor.”

No, it’s because their leaders are followers of Charle Schwab. If this shit doesn’t go nuclear you will see nearly all of the Eastern Block wanting out of NATO and the EU by end of Winter.

That’s my guess.

No it’s because of Russia. I happen to be from one of those countries, still have relatives there, read the news (in their language), keep up with their politics and current events. Nobody and I mean NOBODY there wants the Russians any closer than they are already. Yes, they became too dependent on Russian gas, and are realizing they are going to be cold this winter. But there is no way in HELL they are going to allow themselves to be dragged back into enslavement by Russia - they will fight it tooth and nail, just like the Ukrainians are doing right now.

They’re joint NATO because of a U.S. financial services firm?

I think you mean Karl Schwab.

The stupidity of the conspiracy theorists in here is stifling.

"that Russia honor the transfer that they made to Ukraine in 1954"

ROTFLMAO. OMG. Should Cuba or Honduras weigh in on the creation of West Virginia? How about New Mexico Territory becoming the two separate states of NM and AZ? What the hell, over? Are you sober?

1. What the HELL does Turkey have to do with an internal transfer of territory within the USSR, made by a drunken Nikita K, in order to secure political support for his taking power of the Soviet Union after the death of Stalin? Really?

2. Russia purchased Crimea from Turkey 84 years BEFORE America purchased Alaska from Russia. (America also paid for the Louisiana Purchase and the Southwest, from Mexico and France.)

(We didn't bother to pay for Hawaii, we just out and out stole it at USMC rifle point. No pretense at all, just, "We want it, we're taking it, screw you Hawaiians."

Uh, Matt,

You don’t know whom you are talking to.

I *live* history, especially ours.

I have a lot of respect for you, but this is a particularly dumb@$$ statement if I ever saw one.

Repent, my son.

“I happen to be from one of those countries, still have relatives there, read the news (in their language)”

1. What is the translation of “The Ukraine” in the regional languages, including Ukrainian?

2. Why was it called “The Ukraine” and not “Ukraine” before 1991?

3. When in history was “Ukraine” ever a country with set borders nearly approximating the 1991 borders that were recognized by all the other regional nations, and its own kings or other recognized national leaders, its own government, army, tax collectors, etc?

It should be easy for you to provide references for #3.

Let me explain this to you so you might understand it. (deep breath)

RUSSIA in 1991 SIGNED a TREATY recognizing the INDEPENDENCE of UKRAINE, which included the territory of CRIMEA.

Russia VIOLATED Ukraine’s SOVEREIGNTY by annexing Crimea in 2014 and INVADING Ukraine in 2022 and MURDERING thousands of Ukrainian CITIZENS.

But keep posting your slimy propaganda, проклятий російський троль.
