Thou shalt not kill.
Exodus 20:13
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Matthew 5:17
As someone mentioned, Jesus spoke against murder. Abortion is murder since murder is the deliberate killing of an innocent human being. Unborn babies are human beings. The science clearly proves it; it has for some time and it is becoming scientifically more supported every day. Give me 5 minutes with anyone—including this knucklehead— and unless they plug their ears, I can make them acknowledge this fact.
Jesus never spoke about a lot of heinous sins. He didn’t have to. His immediate audience were more or less devout Jews. Even if they were sinners, they knew the moral law. Abortion was widely acknowledged as a crime and a sin.
Some other heinous crimes and sins that were not condemned explicitly by Jesus:
Rape.
Child molestation
Armed robbery
Drug dealing
Racism
Sodomy
Cruelty to animals
Pollution
The list could be multiplied several times over. So because Jesus didn’t mention these, does that make them OK to do or tolerate in society? Of course not.
The only reason this cretin gets away with saying such vapid things is because the people that watch his show are also cretins. Anyone with a sliver of a brain would know better.
The Romans couldn’t spare their expensive ultrasound machines for the province of Judea.
Can Jesus throw a curve ball?
Be fruitful and multiply.
The dumbest religious argumentum e silentio ever. Do the Scriptures purport to record every single word Jesus ever spoke? No, they don’t. We therefore have to infer from His teachings that were recorded what He would think about matters He did not specifically address. I think we can pretty accurately deduce what He would have thought about abortions of convenience, particularly late term abortions.
Because there was no abortion at that time?
They didn’t have democrats in those days.
Jesus welcomes children
13-15 Then some little children were brought to him, so that he could put his hands on them and pray for them. The disciples frowned on the parents’ action but Jesus said, “You must let little children come to me, and you must never stop them. The kingdom of Heaven belongs to little children like these!” Then he laid his hands on them and went on his way.
Yeah, but he did mention adultery more than once, Joey.
That doesn’t make it OK, Joe.
Liberals’ minds are wired so differently. It’s like trying to understand someone from a different planet. A real stupid, evil planet.
And Jesus didn’t talk about sending men to the moon, Mars missions, trannies, men masquerading as women, or global warming.
Who knew Joe was a religious scholar as he is dumb about everything else.
Not to mention the bit about knowing you while in the womb.
Pound sand, Scarborough.
The ultimate reference. Well done.
The immortal “Suffer the children unto me.”
He touched every one of the children and blessed them. But we see the a phase of the war these wicked people have chosen is to mock Jesus Christ, as the Pharisees did in the days of John’s Gospel.
The Triune God spoke through his prophet, Jeremiah; Jeremiah 20 1-15.
Of course that is about unfaithful Jews and Phonecian infanticide and human sacrifice to gain favor with Baal and be successful in life....
Romans and Greeks practiced infantacide and exposure, but in the context of New Testament 99%+ of Christ’s conversations are with and directed at Jews who did not practice abortion or infantacide.
Christ did speak directly to the question of adultery. (Don’t keep up with these things....did Scarbourough commit adultery with his floosy?
