This is just so dumb. If he’s nominated and wins, he’ll be considered a lame duck quickly because he can’t run again, and nobody is going to go through the effort to start a new party for something so short-term. And if he’s nominated but loses the general election, he’s done then too. Either way, another party doesn’t make sense.

She still thinks her opinion matters. She should switch parties, because all she does is shill for Democrats.
If she is so good at predicting elections, how come she failed to predict her own defeat?

As far as I can tell, the Never Trumpers are not conservative. If they do start a party, it will be less conservative.
The Republican party needs shattering. The “Cheney’s” of the party need to go ahead and officially join their “good friends across the aisle”. The Cheney and Bush Republicans voted for Biden in 2020. Why do we need them?
We need a true Conservative party.
Trump has already shattered the old Republican Party and the handful of old guard left are on their way out within another election or two. Now we need to get the independents solidly in the fold to get done what needs to be done.
If Trump wpuld have been allowed to win in 2022, snakes like Romney and Cheney wpuld already have bolted the Republican party to form the uniparty party she so desperately dreams of.
The fun part would be their steadfast belief that mainstream republicans and democrats would support them in droves and then watching when nobody shows up and even their highly paid consultants start checking their watches.

She forgets that the Republican rank and file have been systematically purging the RINOs, people like her, for several elections now. Their ranks are really getting thin.
How many are left? Sadly, some of the top members of the party still need to be purged, but are adept at clinging to power as well as betrayal.

FTA: ‘Cheney has previously said that she will no longer be a Republican if Trump is the nominee.’ She isn’t and never was a Republican. She’s a member of the uniparty. And its the uniparty that will shatter if President Trump is re-elected in 2024.
