The planes from another time in America, the men on them who loved everything about the planes , and what they represented, and maybe most significant of all - the incomprehensible horror of how it could even happen.....

Get invisible? How the hell does this help? Like jews hiding in the attic? How did that make anything better? If others didn’t come to their rescue they would have been found and killed or lived miserable worthless lives in hiding and there is no one coming to save our asses.

Don’t make yourself a target. It’s not very hard to do actually. Even if you are fighting to the death, it’s not a bad idea to be invisible. And it isn’t really hard to do today. Think the French Resistance, as opposed to, say, The 300 or Ben Hur.
