They wish. Soros is just Loki, a mischief-maker, but mortal. Schwab is just the most successful convention organizer ever, given that the attendees are all big cheeses in politics, business, and much else. This deranged Illuminati speculation hinges on the idea that powerful people are in the grip of ideological fads. In reality these things are waves they ride to get to they want - enhanced personal prestige and perks. The moment vox populi changes its tune, they’ll change their dance moves. As Henry of Navarre the devout Protestant once said, “Paris is worth a Mass”. Heck, Putin showed up at Davos personally or sent official Russian delegations annually to solicit foreign investment or just to hang out.
It’s basically “Business After Hours” Meet Up.......on an International Scale.
The Reptilian WEF.
Is that a selfie?
Seems to me the WEF is allowing too many rabble, peasants and Hoi Polloi to participate. In what turns out to be a networking venue. Where money grubbers of all nations are on the big green hustle.
This is not an exclusive, elite Conference anymore. No wonder Bill Gates is staying away.

Gates isn’t really in business any more, except as a kind of pie-in-the-sky type venture capitalist. So far, my impression is that his investments haven’t panned out. If he’s getting ideas from Davos that are crashing and burning, what’s the point of even showing up? He can get his fill of hot air without paying the hefty Davos business participant fee, which can go into the hundreds of thousands.
If he enjoys it, it’s pocket change. If he doesn’t, why even waste his time on what is a 5-day junket? At 67, it’s not like he’s getting any younger that he should be involved in something that wastes his time and is a chore.
Frankly, Gates is a bigger deal than most national leaders, given his stewardship of Microsoft from nothing to one of the biggest software companies on the planet. It’s not clear what he’s got to prove at this point. He’s latched onto some nutty ideas, but that’s not exactly unusual for really smart people.
Newton, a much bigger genius, was into the occult and an alchemist. Newton also lost his personal fortune in the South Sea bubble. Brings into perspective ordinary Joes who suffer financial setbacks. If it could happen to Newton, a once-in-a-millennium genius ...
