Time for peace talks!
The looming stalemate in Ukraine one year after the Russian invasion
1. how the Rs in the House will deal with the Debt Limit Issue
2. The House Rs proposed return to budgeting
3. Will the Rs in the House have the balls to go back to BASE LINE budgeting - not this 8% default budget increase every year B.S.
If the Dems use their regular playbook, the Reps will be blamed for shutting down the government. The MSM will paint the Reps as the villains, including the looming possibility that the Reps will force the cessation of SS payments. Is McCarthy strong enough to stand his ground recognizing the slim Rep House majority.
Scary stuff. Here’s a clip from South China Sea where Chinese vessels and warplanes are menacing our aircraft with an embedded CNN reports. Hot zone.

It appears China will attempt to roll in, broker peace, and emerge as the ‘world leader’, supplanting the US in that role. Their motivation seems strong to pull that off, which may be a benefit if it stopped a war, but look for Joe to nix it to keep the $$ flowing in and out of Ukraine.
This is all to funny. The Rats are reliving LBJ's running of the Vietnam war.
Be honest. Getting back Crimea is what the Ukrainians want.
I don’t think they will, nor should they try.
Time for peace talks and an end to an ugly war that NEITHER side will win.
But the USA is nowhere near running this like Vietnam. Where’s Westmoreland and HQ’s Saigon? The 7th Air Force and the Pacific Fleet? Marine Force Vietnam?
I hate the dems as much as ANYONE here. I just don’t think they’re as good and successful at things than they think.
I know I’m at a minority on this, but this is my honest take.
I can’t outpost everyone on this thread on this issue, so it is the last I’ll say of it.
Bottom line when you spend like a sailor sooner or later you have to walk the plank.....
President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that U.S. officials have not seen China “take the step of providing weapons to Russia” to aid their efforts in the war in Ukraine.
NSA Sullivan: Biden ‘Wants to Put Every Tool at Use’ to Find COVID Origins
President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President Joe Biden was committed to finding out the origin of the coronavirus.
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she would support any Republican nominee for 2o24 that the voters picked.
What about before that, Rona Romney McDaniel? Who are you and Mitch gonna fund along the road to the GOP nominee?
When you have too many armaments sooner or later someone wants to use them. Never any mention of the real stuff we have however.
The Crimea was never a part of The Ukraine historically. Stalin or Lenin made that come about.
But the USA is nowhere near running this like Vietnam. Well now, what do you remember of Kennedy having Diem killed in Nov. '63 just a few weeks before JFK himself was shot. - That is the portion of the Vietnam war, like the "B.S. regarding the killing of Archduke whatever" that started W.W.I. The current Ukraine situation has many similarities/
As for me, from where I come from, I would very much like to see both parties kill themselves - but that would unfortunately give the Chinks a free hand in Eurasian
No. The Vietnam War started because the French wanted to take their colony back and the USA—who didn’t, changed course and supported them because De Gaul started getting pissy, and threatened to pull support for NATO.
Eventually we wound up having to pull their cojones out of the fire after Dien Bien Phu. We just should have left it to Ho but then we were in a Cold War with commies.
Nothing good came of it, but by Diem’s murder we were already up to our eyeballs in it. We already had 16 thousand US military “advisers” fighting by then.
I agree about Crimea. Ukraine and Russia need to cease fire now.
It doesn't make any difference. The federal debt has become an imaginary number. There is no possibility of ever paying it off, short of bankruptcy or the old solution; go to another country, take their stuff and add to your wealth.
And just think about the special multi-year funding bills, like what the dems passed in December, which may or not be counted as "deficit". Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich still brag about passing and having a balanced budget year or two, but the best year in terms of federal debt back then was only an increase of $18 Billion. (With a B).
Yup, a repeat of the insinuation that President Trump caused the train derailment with his deregulation frenzy. Bream called him out politely, but he kept on making a general point of it. That dang story is sticking too much.
Do you think?
I see a lot of push back every time it is brought up, and usually a counter argument of WHERE is Biden's Secretary of Transportation and why hasn't the admin done ANYTHING to counter the so-called deregulation? They've had two years now.
They don't have an answer, just the argument to start, but it can be easily proved BS.
But, like most here, I rarely follow any of the DNCMedia, and no doubt, they've been constantly blaming Trump for everything since 2015!
And this may very well be the case currently in The Ukraine today. ADVISERS may or may not be correct but military support, that is certainly what the Uniparty is doing
