The Left has built a movement on the idea that reality itself can and should be rejected. The Left is selling the notion that people can avoid reality in a thousand ways...just by doing what you want instead of what life and reality demand.
Basically, the Left is like the "cool" parents who let their kids drink and do drugs at home because life "out there" sucks.
The problem is that when the "cool" parents on the Left found out that letting their kids drink and do drugs at home wasn't working, they didn't reverse their policy...they started pushing alcohol and drugs on all their kids' friends.
The Left is pushing the idea that the problem of reality and life can be avoided by "intoxication." And anything that distracts from reality is intoxicating.
The Left has created a dystopian Neverland. The only thing that keeps it from complete self-destruction is that sane people--adults--keep on working and paying for it.
