I'm well aware, and thanks for reminding everyone on this thread of that fact.
Scott was a hard NO from me even before that. I just don't see him as Presidential/Vice-Presidential material.
Same is true for damn' near everyone else on the Republican side of the aisle.

But I’ll kidding aside, I don’t want an unmarried president. Especially one that has never had kids. It’s a strange problem manifesting among world leaders. An astonishing number of them are childless. Macron, Boris Johnson, Angela Merkel, and several others. This trend also holds among other very important neocon leaders, Condoleezza Rice, Victoria Nuland, etc the list goes on. These childless people don’t care anything beyond power while they were alive. They never have a thought about what will happening to their progeny. Open borders? Fine! War in Ukraine, as long as they have a bunker, who cares? Stratospheric debt resulting in the collapse of the economy? No problem because they will be insiders.
You get my point.
