Rule of thumb: Don’t commit something to writing that you later don’t want to be used against you. Admission against interest.
That said, Trump’s statements don’t seem all that damning.

There is nothing wrong and certainly nothing illegal about the tweets.

I definitely think Trump is being railroaded and we’re generally on a very dangerous path... but tactically, Trump made a lot of mistakes that gave Dems plenty of openings.

No they don’t, and how does that fit into the RICO law?
To: goodolemr
The problem is if he gets railroaded we will get railroaded. It cannot stand.

Tweeting about democrat crimes is a crime.
He was impeached for looking into One Democrat’s crime and then they elected the man who committed them.

To: thegagline
He was impeached for a phone call.

Trump is definitely being railroaded. That said, keep an eye on how many of his attorneys abandon him due to client control issues.

In a sane world, a person wouldn't be indicted for their tweets, not even a terrorist.

Exactly. They sound as if he believed there was fraud, and acted accordingly. If thinking an election may have been fraudulent is a crime, arrest Hillary.

Trump has already been found guilty, they just need a show trial and hand picked jurors to rubber stamp his conviction. Just like when Stalin was running things

Those same tactics are revealing what the situation really is. They can’t hide any more. That is too our advantage. Shine the light. It doesn’t mean we have an easy battle.

They don't seem damning at all - just Trump doing his usual stream-of-consciousness posting. If this is what the DA's case is built on, it's ridiculous.
