Do you think if they take out Trump that they will leave DeSantis alone? The media smear machine, when it has time to spare from trashing Trump, is doing the same to DeSantis. I for one support Trump, but if DeSantis were to win I wouldn’t be butthurt and not vote for him.
If our voters were capable of thinking strategically they would get behind one of those three now and render the Trump legal drama irrelevant, but that’s too big of an ask I’m afraid.

The downside of this “Trump can’t win the general” is that *no* other Republican can win the general without Trump voters. Of the other contenders, I might vote for Vivek in the general. I will vote 3rd party or undervote POTUS if a uniparty politician is running.

Regardless of what the poll says, he (DJT) may be the only shot. We can’t trust any of the others in the field to have the sense of vengeance needed to start cleaning things up.
That said, Desantis does have an opportunity here. Come out full throated saying he WILL pardon Trump hell or high water, and promise to investigate and prosecute the dems to the fullest extent of the law. It might move his polling.

Well I’m going out on a limb admitting this but I have esp at times, and I really do think it’s going to be Trump vs Biden and if we all just stick together we can get rid of Biden but the Dems are all out to split us up.
