Let’s stop with the euphemism and call a spade a spade. It is blatant lying in everyone’s face. Most people know what a lie is. It’s the Ninth Commandment - thou shalt not lie to one another.

The gaslighting doesn’t have the effect that it used to. Legacy media is dying. The new media is waking people up. If someone is foolish enough to believe that the economy is good while they pay continuously higher gas prices and food prices, then they are irredeemable and not worth your time.
I have not bought bread at a store for years. I bake pita bread pockets, baguettes, bagels, crackers, and sliced bread. Gotta have good spices and good yeast, which Amazon handles for me. I do subscribe to one 5# bag of coffee beans every month.
A 50# bag of King Arthur, Sir Gallahad high gluten flour (The best) costs about $60. We bake / use 300 grams per day. That comes to around a 100 day supply. So bread costs me around 60 cents. And that's the good stuff.
Every now and then a reminder to see how little you really need, vs. What you think you want, is a good exercise to take on.

the economy is "strong" because we have accumulated trillions of dollars in new national debt to finance this so called strength.
Inflation is being controlled by increasing interest rates.
Higher interest rates will acerbate the 32 trillion (and counting) that we owe on the national debt.
Many of shortsighted politicians that squandered the wealth of our nation will be long dead when we and the rest of the world face the consequences where this Judas goat has led us.
Bread keeps going up and the loaves keep getting smaller.
