The US Constitution is only as good as the district courts and supreme courts in each state and nationally.
You can bet 2A would be gone or gutted if the SCOTUS was Rat heavy.
Just like the “Indiana Woman” who drove into the building with a Star of David on it.
I want to know what kept multiple prosecutors in multiple jurisdictions from charging him with the crimes he actually committed with the weapon.
Surely it is a felony to SHOOT AT A WITNESS, right? He’d be in prison, and as a felon, not allowed to own a gun.
But, liberals don’t really want to put people in jail for using guns, especially not their fellow democrats.
They really just want to stop everybody from being allowed to have legal guns.
So that, when immigrants pull an attack like Hamas did in Israel, we won’t be able to defend ourselves.

This little pissant 23-year-old drug dealer is the reason my gun rights need to be eroded? I suppose he’s only Billy Baddass when he thinks he’s surrounded by unarmed people. Why couldn’t he and some well-armed Texas citizen have a disagreement?

I play bass and piano. And sing.
The problem is that I’m to busy to be out in front of people. I just moved to a town of 1000 people too so I’m pretty much sitting in front of a good fire at night now :)
Unless a Felon also loses the right to free speech, or the right against the government just seizing their property on a whim, or quartering troops in their house, there is an argument that even felons have a right to defend themselves once released and citizens again, and the Second Amendment is granted back to them.
All of the rights in the Bill of rights are like owning a car. You cannot forbid an Irishman from owning a corvette, just because Irish tend to drink, and you fear he may drive drunk someday. You cannot presuppose someone will commit a crime, and forbid them a freedom to prevent the crime which may never happen. Freedom means, you have to give people the freedom, and then when they abuse it you punish them for the abuse.
It would mean the Irishman gets his corvette until he drives drunk and hits someone, and the felon has a Second Amendment right by virtue of being a citizen until he abuses it and gets sent to prison for that.
