but if there are no more qualifications than this....????

The essential qualifications are to be able to keep a straight face and lie without missing a beat, while doing whatever your largest campaign donors want done.

You sure you are up for this?

A few billion here, a few billion there, eventually it adds up to real money.

Newsome desperately wants to be president so he can spend a few trillion here, a few trillion there ...

Why stop at $25. Why not $30, $75, $100?

So that the democrats can impose further increases before future elections.

CA and NY are going to look like a post apocalyptic Planet of the Apes/Escape from NY before long- abandoned, broke, destroyed with no living things there.

$4Bil instead of $25mil, paid by you and me. Only a 1,600% increase.

The goal must be to make people leave Kalifornika by making it impossible to afford to live there as a working or retired person. Only people who qualify for all the poverty benefits can afford to stay or those who make dumb money.

Exactly.

“Have you seen what hamburgers cost today? Our healthcare workers need this raise to be able to comfortably afford lunch.”

There needs to be a Constitutional challenge to state governments mandating what a PIVATE business has to pay its employees. Thus, governments can dictate which businesses fail or succeed and what goods and services can be available to the American people. This is a great example of full throated communism and the people are the government’s victims.

SCOTUS has ruled several times that a min wage is not unconstitutional. Wiki it.

Is anyone even asking how the government has the authority to set wages? Or even asking previously when they started this non-sense last century?

I used to be against the min wage until I became a Freeper. Being a Freeper has shown me these anti min wage “small business” lovers would set a MAXIMUM wage for unskilled labor if they could get away with it.

If you’ve been working your ass off for 10 years just to make it up to $25 an hour, you’re gonna expect to get a raise to $35 or $40 an hour.

Someone please tell me how the USA is not a socialist country, with fully socialized medicine.

If the governor of a large state can simply declare what the lowest workers shall make - I’m sorry, you are living under a socialist regime.
