No, but if I see Trump looking fragile I’ll be sure to let you know. BTW Wolverines are not fragile.

Reynolds is someone who was offered the VP spot, when the GOP party disqualifies Trump from the ballot, like desantis is expecting to happen.

>> how many votes do you think Trump gained or lost by his rude insults and demands to a sitting governor? Or, make it simpler, do you think he gained or lost votes for 2024?

My guess is that most Iowans can think for themselves and are not anxiously waiting for the endorsement of their unpopular governor to decide for whom to vote.

Their huge margin of support for President Trump over the other GOPe losers like Ronnie Boi, despite the lukewarm support of their bimbo guvnoress, underscores their independence as well as their keen discernment ability. 👍🏻

She has a high “unpopular” count in Morning Consult (even though she actually has a positive approval rating), because of two things, according to MC:
1. She was “disloyal” to Trump
2. She passed a solid pro-life law.

Not sure which of those two things you hate about her.

Pro-life folks are glad that solid conservative governors are willing to risk being found “unpopular” by the democrats in order to pass laws to protect babies.

IN fact, I would say that by some measures, in a state where republcians have about 52% of the vote, and democrats 48%, you might be better off with a governor with high negatives, rather than one trying to appeal to the democrats.

But in any case, the important thing in a republican primary, at least for real conservatives, is popularity with conservatives, NOT popularity with independents and democrats.

So there is no more loyalty or honor?
The Gov’s prior statements are irrelevant?
Pull the other one it’s got bells on.

The woman has exposed herself as completely unprincipled. Loyalty and honoring one’s words still counts in my book. DeSantis is disloyal to Floridians and our Nation and those who continue to throw trash to try desperately to give him relevance are in the same category. At this point Trump is the clear front runner and has proven his competence. It is only personal hubris, greed and naked ambition that motivates these low teen & single digits losers to continue their irrelevant campaigns, coupled with a complete lack of loyalty to America.

obviously yes. That’s really been what he wanted all along.

He is an attention-seeker, a people-pleaser, who wants to be loved, and will sell out almost ANY principle to get approval and admiration.

He did it time and again while President, which fortunately worked for conservatives since the democrats decided it was good for them to oppose Trump.

If the democrats had wanted, they could have instead worked deals with Trump, he was ready to give them most of what they wanted.

loyalty is not just given to the king. If that if your mentality you definitely shouldn’t be the Governor of a state nor a Senator.

What are the quid and the quo? I think she likes DeSantis better than Trump, and so do I.

A new Emerson College Poll in Iowa finds Governor Kim Reynolds with a 32% approval among Iowa residents, while 39% disapprove of the job she is doing in office. Twenty-nine percent are neutral. President Biden’s approval is six points lower than Reynolds,’ holding a 26% approval among residents, and 52% disapproval. Twenty-two percent are neutral towards the president.

Spencer Kimball, Executive Director of Emerson College Polling, said, “Governor Reynolds holds a 55% approval rating within her own party, and 19% disapproval. Reynolds struggles with independent voters: a 40% plurality of whom disapprove of the job she is doing as governor, and just 22% approve.”

According to Trump we must all hold the flag in our left hand and pledge allegiance to him with our right. Otherwise we are disloyal.

That’s not a good way to run a country.

My loyalty is to the Constitution of the United States of America, not to any particular politician.

Mr. Trump needs to get over himself; he's a public servant (or he was), not a king. His sycophants need to get over themselves as well, but they're too ignorant and arrogant to do so.

Hey CC27,

Here is some more information proving the Gov. is not all that popular in her state.

>> That’s not a good way to run a country.
No, it wouldn’t be, if it was really what President Trump espouses.
But it’s not.
It’s merely your typical bullshit-stuffed strawman that you fabricate and knock down, eh Leftenant?

RINOs expect conservatives to show party loyality but it never works the other way around.

My loyalty is the same as yours. I think that my loyalty to the US & the Constitution is what has informed by support of Donald Trump.
Milquetoasts do not win wars or clear out the deep state vultures and hyenas. Trump’s personality is abrasive, resolute and committed to America, self assured, resolute & strong. That is the kind of man who is needed in this very dangerous time.
People that get their knickers in a twist would do well to consider history and the nature of the generals that have done the most to keep America & the Constitution intact. They were not presidential or courteous when crossed.
