Brad Paisley is a country music singer who has not publicly declared his political affiliation. He has said that he is “a little hard to pin down” politically and that he is “defy category.”
However, Paisley has made some statements and taken some actions that suggest he definately is a liberal. For example, he has spoken out in support of LGBTQ+ rights and gun control. He has also donated money to charities that support these causes.
In 2013, Paisley released a song called “Accidental Racist” with LL Cool J. The song was intended to address the issue of race relations in the United States. However, the song was criticized by some for being simplistic and tone-deaf.
Paisley has also spoken out against the National Rifle Association (NRA). In 2017, he said that he was “done” with the NRA after the organization lobbied against a bill that would have expanded background checks for gun purchases.
In 2022, Paisley visited Ukraine with a bipartisan delegation of US lawmakers to show support for the country in its war against Russia. He also performed at a benefit concert for Ukrainian refugees.
