How are you guys hauling goods making out with the cost of gas...Life was good under Trump.

Biden’s economy is in such a mess that he is trying to find anyone, anything to blame. That is all leftist know how do — play the blame game.
Most retail businesses — gas stations, grocery stores, etc. — have a small profit margin.
Biden has no idea about real-world life, because he has been cloistered in DC for half a century.

Grocery store and gas prices are up more like 70%.
But consumer electronics and the trash-er-tainment industry's products have continued to deflate.
Net these areas out and you might get down to 18%.
Biden's handlers are economic ignoramuses, of course, but his base will have little trouble believing high prices are imposed by modern-day descendants of Snidely Whiplash. It isn't like the GOP has any effective counter-messaging.

I don’t even believe 18%., i feel more like a 1/3 increase maybe even 1/2. I bought this for EIGHT dollars today, at a Midwest Walmart (cheapest around). Notice the dime for scale.

Both of my kids acquired more business experience before they were 16 and got a “W-2” job than the pResident has, in his lifetime. I suppose I should say “his handlers” because I doubt he even knows what was contained in this statement.
When Republicans are out of office, they WORK in the private sector. When the DemoNIcrats are out of office, they plot ways to get back to sucking from the government teat.

Socialist bums like Nixon always resort to price controls to make it worse. Will Biden be one of those?

Despite everything Obama tried to do to get the economy going while he was President, the only thing that worked was, Obama left the White House. And now Joe thinks he can Jawbone his way into making the economy better.
Leave Joe. And take your closet full of ineffective freaks with you. You can fondle all of the secret documents you have next to your Corvette and your freaks can all go back into their closets.
Easy Peazy.

“stop the price gouging”
A media sound-bite that everyone can get with.
Only, there is no ‘gouging’ going on.
If someone is ‘gouging’, let’s have an example and shame the supplier.
Watch this one get legs.
A narrative without support.
Emote America! Emote!

The president also attacked Republicans Monday, saying that they “want to go back to the bad old days when corporations looked around the world to find the cheapest labor they could find, just to send the jobs overseas and then import the products back to the United States” Um, Senator Biden was one of those who voted for MFN for China.
