It’s a pretty sunken world, morally, when we have to make fun of a father who wants the best Godly life for his daughter. Shame on anyone making fun of this.
My daughter got an issue of Focus on the Family (the girls’ magazine) every month while she was growing up. One of the issues had a wonderful section on purity and why it was so very important. They had a little section you could sign as your purity pledge and cut it out and tuck it away. It was between her and God. In this day and age, I am happy to say that she kept her pledge, and met and married her high-school sweetheart 15 years ago. They both kept that pledge. In fact, he considered it his duty to protect her purity as much as she did....best son-in-law on earth.
I was surprised when Googling “purity ball” (which I had heard of before) how about 99% of the results were NEGATIVE!
WHY? Because at every turn “Satan, the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4, that’s TWO Corinthians) has taken over.
