I agree with the logic. Under that scenario the tree of liberty will be watered plentifully from both sides, but I suspect there are a lot more of us than of them.

If I understand the logic correctly, all Palestinians in Gaza if they can “legally” shoot members of the IDF, then “all Palestinians in Gaza can be classified as either Hamas soldiers, enemy combatants, or terrorists.
Therefore, per this UN experts perspective, the IDF can shoot anyone on sight in Gaza, as long as they are Palestinian. Who would have thought that was part of the international rules of war, as promoted by the UN.
Correct. They are enemy combatants and can be shot. Just like spies. Does NOT mean they get the protections of the Laws of War.
