I watched yesterday’s election and speeches by trump desantis Haley
Here is my honest perspective , this coming from a desantis supporter , a desantis supporter who admitted weeks/months ago that he blew it , blew it during the first 3 debates. That’s when I (and millions of others like me ) started switching their attention to Nikki Halley
I like Nikki Haley , I have moved on from Desantis for this election cycle. He disappointed me in his robotic way, but Haley was able to connect with me. It took some time but it is what it is.
I’m one to think that we stand a better chance at the general election with Nikki
But having said that , let me tell you something important
The undecided voters are like me , there are million like me who want an adult in the white house , yesterdays speech by trump , which was , in my opinion one of his better speeches in which he wasn’t insulting, wasn’t egotistical and was one of reconciliation with Desantis and Haley.
Trump already has most of republicans in the bag, he now has to reach out to independents
If trump can continue his speeches in the same manner as yesterday then he will switch many independents who don’t want a reality tv series in the White House. I think it’s possible if he continues the way of his speech last night
Trump got 10% more votes than Cruz in 2016, on 65,000 fewer total voters. Weather did depress turnout, but, compared to polling, no candidate was disproportianately hurt except maybe Trump.
In 2020, Trump defeated Bill Weld in the Iowa Caucus by getting 97% of the vote
Democrats have been quite friendly to Haley, hoping to lure us into thinking she could be a successful replacement for Trump, and her into a false sense of security. But if she got the nomination, just wait— she would be subjected to the most withering crossfire ever launched against a candidate. The media would tear her apart and I don’t think she has the starch to stand up to it.

The more the media attacks the republicans the more we produce people like trump desantis and vivik
And in a way , I like it, it shows we are fighting back

As much as a lot of hard trump supporters don’t want to hear it, I think this is actually very good advice.
We (those who already support Trump) know he is a fighter, not just a doer (he gets things done). He doesn’t have to prove it. What he has to do to get another 5%-10% in the general election is not be as abrasive. It seems absurd to us, because we don’t care about style points, we want action, but that’s the reality of the field.
