If they had just put Lizzo in a bikini on the cover they would be rich./s

They would need to put her in the centerfold - but only because she won't fit on one page.

Even the swimsuit issue runs into modern times problems. Maxim is the swimsuit issue, every month. Youtube, tiktok, there’s just tons of places to get non-porn cheesecake. SI is just a pre-cable pre-internet thing, it can’t compete on any level.

Maybe SI can market its tranny and chubby swimsuit edition as an appetite suppressant? Lemons => lemonade

Three thumbs up!

What? transsexuals in swim suits don’t sell magazines?
who would’ve guessed!?

/s

this is just another case of DBM (death by management) which is going around quite a bit in American business firms these days

Could it be subscribers were repulsed by a tranny man in a bikini?

Some people call it the “Go Broke, Get Woke” syndrome.

When you see corporations start to do these profoundly stupid things, that means they are already done for. The goofy tranny stuff is icing on the cake, so to speak.

Bwaaaaa Ha Ha.....

Another WOKE one bites the dust!

They traded off 3 million normal men who read sports magazines and like real women for 6 cross-dressing faggots who don’t buy or read sports magazines.

Who hires the over-schooled dumb-asses that do this to successful businesses?

Exactly, sports illustrated brought this on themselves.

Circulation for printed copies of both magazines and newspapers has declined quite a bit in recent years.

Even if Sports Illustrated didn’t have liberal political statements , and or they always had real girls in the swimsuit issue, the magazine would still be in Decline anyway

This is what happens when news outlets decide effecting societal change is more important than just giving their readers what they want. Sports Illustrated is a sports magazine. Instead of acting like one, the outlet's editors and writers decided they'd rather cosplay as culture warriors. Men want news on football and baseball. They don't want transgender models shoved into their faces and lectures about abortion.

This sums up a lot of peoples' disgust with things from Bud Light to Target. People are tired of hearing that they are old fashioned and could care less about the entire LBGTQ agenda. Ever noticed that every new TV shows feels they have to have an LBGTQ cast member(s)? My grandson loves fire trucks but I can't watch 911 with him because of all the questions about men in bed with men and women in bed with women. What people do in the privacy of their own home is their business, but it doesn't have to be on a prime time TV show.

Who thought a trannie in a swim suit would sell magazines?

Fools who ran the magazine thought a trannie in a swin suit would sell magazines. That's who. Journalists ain't what they used to be. Washington Post is going broke too. These folks are idiots - they need to learn to code... and soon.

I know some people are very fond of that. But most of the time when you look at it the company was in trouble already. One of the other articles about this said SI got sold 5 years ago for $110 million. That’s nothing for what was once one of the most well known magazines in the world. In general companies get bought for 3 to 5 times annual revenue, it’s not a hard rule, but a useful thumbnail. So with a $110 million price tag that mean probably SI was making between $20 million and $40 million a year. That’s nothing for something as legendary as SI. They were going down, woke, not woke, the handwriting was on the wall.

You seem correct to me. From a quazi-insider/friend the current owners bought with the idea that there was a very limited shelf life. They didn’t care. They didn’t care about Woke, they didn’t care about AI. They made millions. They knew they could ride it down to dirt and do very, very well.

To finish, they’d have to include Gorlock the Destroyer.

Yes. Entertainment has been coopted by the left as a indoctrination tool. It’s sickening. You see it, but kids don’t know that what they are watching is abnormal. Sad.

Putting trannies in the swimsuit issue is just plain nuts.
