Yea, sure it does.
Why does the bill need to be secret before its unveiling? Should not the processes and negotiations in this so-called “democracy” be held behind closed doors. If they are troubled with “internet rumors”, they should just post it all so everyone can see what they are doing with their own eyes.
This all seems so familiar. Money to Ukraine immediately, a promise to close the border later. Tax increase now, spending cuts later.
EC
Exactly right. Put it ALL out there for the public to see. That would instantly end all Internet rumors. People HATE smoky backroom slimy deals.
Their MO is what Pelosi used to pass Obamacare. Provide no time for the legislators or citizens to read it and comment on it. Tell them “You have to pass it to see what’s in it.” Then pass it under cover of darkness. Finally, feign outrage because complain about your duplicity and double-crossing.
Has that “bill” been released so that “we the people” can actually take a look at it. Not taking you at your word, Lankford.
How about this for an approach? Close the border now. Do it under existing law with existing funding. Forget Ukraine or any other unrelated issues. No deals. Just do your damn jobs.
There are a paltry handful that are true red white and blue
The POTUS already has the statutory authority to shut fown the border.
We’re getting tired of Rinos like Lankford, McConnell, Thune, Cornyn and other uniparty “Republican senators” telling us lies and then saying opposing information is misinformation. They have been doing it to us for over 40 years and are now finally being called out about it.
Border “deal”? All these jerks have to do is agree upon reinstituting Trump’s plan and do it!
He is of course a liar. It is somewhat surprising that a Southern Baptist minister is so comfortable with Satan magnitude lies.
Lankford and his GOP colleagues do not seem to realize that chronic weakness and repeated betrayals have cost them all credibility and trust with the GOP base.
