To be fair most people probably have no idea what half your acronyms are, or at least what you’re thinking.
Gross national product? General nurse practitioner? Glacier national park?
Certified nurse assistant?
Low pressure nitrogen? Liquid petroleum n-something?
Radio receiver/transmitter? Radar range tracking?
Non Sequitur
This is going to test Ron DeSantis to see what he is made of. He is a New World Oder Communist authoritarian if he signs this law.
To be fair....most people are idiots.
“Non Sequitur”

Also irrelevant reply to my post.
No it is not. You actually believe this is about the Children. If it was they would have done this 10 years ago. This is about control period.
Keeping this simple would seem to be best-at least in my opinion. So let’s make you an adult at 18 for everything adults do in public-like drinking, smoking-joining the military, entering into contractual agreements, having credit cards, your own insurance, etc. Let the parents decide if kids can drink and smoke at home, since that can be done in private, too. Having a social media account is another matter-like having sex. Let the parents decide-and if the kid under 18 causes havoc, becomes a victim or commits a crime, then the parents have only themselves to blame-no lawsuits, no howling for public sympathy-keep track of your own offspring. I don’t care if it sounds mean-most of us teach our our own cubs to be adults as part of being a good parent.
My parents taught us the proper way to drink socially at home as teens-no overindulging, no dumbass acting out, just socially acceptable behavior. I was brought up in a rural area, so I’m no fancy broad-but I know that was the norm at that time-late 60’s-early 70’s-among the people we knew. My husband and I did the same with ourr cub-as did most of the parents we knew-and she was a responsible adult at 18-not some slutty girl who acted out, got drunk and raped, etc-she has never been in trouble-it works...
Leave the internet use to the parent’s discretion-we do not need more laws to protect people from themselves-we need more responsible parents...

LOL.
The 1st Amendment restricts Congress.

Out of curiosity I looked it up. At one time you would have been absolutely correct. The 1A restricted the Federal Government, but not state governments.
But from the 1920s on, the courts have ruled otherwise. So a precedent has been set. Now the 1A applies to all levels of government. And I admit that I’m surprised by that history. I thought the 1A applied to the states from the get-go.
If it were a ‘Jeopardy’ question, I would have missed it.

Agree with the principle, but not enforceable. Parents need to parent.
This is a way to dox everyone on the internet.
And it will affect everyone because that is easier than setting things up to treat Florida differently.
2003 was when Eskamanni says she was on social media when she was 13 as she was born in 1990.
That was 21 years ago and there was little social media to be had and what was there was not so dangerous and so psychologically addictive. MySpace was started and began to be popular with teens so perhaps that’s what she was referring to. Since then on line social media has grown much more treacherous for children.
And on Truth Social...
