“Equitable” utility rates, “living wage”, guaranteed minimum income, “progressive” income tax, Earned Income Tax Credit (welfare for income tax non-payers), EBT cards, etc….etc….etc…. Our increasingly socialist society is trying to remove every incentive to take the initiative to improve your own lot in life. Of course, that’s the Leftist plan, to make you completely dependent upon the government and then to keep you there forever.
