We need another strategy other than “just make it illegal” - we’ll lose every time with women, whom are increasingly more liberal.
IMHO - don’t make it illegal, just educate kids on EXACLTY the realities of abortion, with pictures and video. Start with a late term-abortion, work backwards toward conception. Don’t allow the stupid “it’s just a clump of cells” argument to stand. If educated, I don’t think most young women will have one. It’s only when the reality of it is unseen that it is easy to do.
Seeing the election platform today:
1) Biden is a savvy leader and 2) GOP wants world-wide ban on abortion.
Yep - they have their template and the base just rolled over and let them do it in the past couple of election cycles allowing them to control the message and the narrative. A radical pro-abortion governor was just re-elected in Kentucky which is a very pro-life state running on abortion with this narrative that basically Republicans want women to be raped and die with problem pregnancies. Ohio voters also passed an amendment far to the left of their views on abortion.
Marketing matters, messaging matters, money matters. And the Democrats have the media, and tons more cash to crush the Republican and conservative organizations’ messaging. Will the base roll over yet again for another election cycle?

Allowing or limiting it is purely a state , NIMBY, matter (well, Congress could override DC home rule and make women travel to MD or VA for it.) Now a ban on federal funding of abortion could happen, but states willing to allow it could fund it, and could fund it for out of state travelers to it. And all those rich private pro-abort folk could certainly form charities to support it. Federal post could be blocked from shipping abortion pills, but private carriers could replace that easily.
Newsom is a liar.
