Maybe not so many Trump flags but free tacos for everyone. Brownsville is solid blue. There are a few purple areas along the border but the vast majority is blue.

That is absurd! REAL border agents will tell him "We don't need any new laws. Just let us do our jobs!!"
But they can't let that happen, so the people he meets with will be carefully vetted, hand-selected, and instructed to tell him "Yes, Joe, we desperately need new laws to solve this 'crisis.'. Please tell those Republican meanies to stop blocking new laws."
All Biden had to do was leave the policies in place that he found when he took office - on this and a number of other issues. He could have done pretty much nothing and cruised to re-election taking credit for the success of policies he did not even implement.
…and hand each new voter a phone and a prepaid Visa card!
